About EFISEE

EFISEE Regional office is a unit of the European Forest Institute which focuses its activities in South-East Europe. The office was launched in July 2012 with the support of the 9 forest research and education partner institutions in South- Eastern Europe.

EFISEE is conducting research, networking, information and advocacy for forestry in the SEE region with strong science-policy interface. These activities facilitate decision making processes by linking stakeholders to forestry issues in South-East Europe. 

EFISEE is being hosted by the Croatian forest research institute, in Jastrebarsko, and is funded by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports and the Ministry Agriculture.
