About EFICEEC

The
European Forest Institute Central-East European Regional Office (EFICEEC) is an integral part of EFI and consists of a consortium of
research partners from different countries with a specific focus on the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. It is hosted by the
University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (Universität für Bodenkultur Wien, BOKU) and supported by core partners all over the CEE region.
EFICEEC stands for integrated and international forest research. It is foreseen to act as a catalyst to foster networking, research, advocacy and capacity building, at a regional and international scale. Following up on the activities from the INNOFORCE Project Centre, EFICEEC aim to become an inter-disciplinary focal point building on three work areas.
